Thanks, Goldworldnet. I've been fortunate in my life to have known genuine heroes. The world needs more heroes, and we need to know what a real hero is. We should teach our children about heroes like George Washington. The real, unvarnished truth. It really bothers me to see celebrity worship. Celebrities are not heroes just because they are famous. Some celebrities may be heroes, but it has nothing to do with their being famous. Most genuine heroes are not famous. I met a new hero a few weeks ago. He was 90 years old, and was awarded the Bronze Star for heroism in the Second World War. Just sat down to him at Costco and started talking to him about the hat that he wore.
