Karen -

Glad you're feeling better.

Speaking of hybrids again, the Edmunds.com review of the Toyota Camry hybrid says nothing about any jerkiness in the ride. I'm not sure where that idea came from. Perhaps someone who hadn't driven one. I've certainly never experienced jerkiness when riding in or driving my aunt's Prius. The only thing that's weird about driving it is the eery quiet when you're at a stop light or driving at slow speeds, when the gasoline engine turns itself off.

In fact, Edmunds says that the power is "seamless" and that the ride is smooth. It also has high crash test ratings.

Interestingly, for people who prefer a little more "road feel" they recommend checking out the new Nissan Altima hybrid, which I didn't even know existed. Evidently it shares the Toyota hybrid drive system.

Here's their review of the Camry hybrid.
