My daughter's dog Ruby raised three litters of outstanding springer spaniel puppies, including my own dog Daisy and her other dog Mister Big. One thing she did with all the puppies, which I think was more than two dozen survivors out of nearly 30 total, was to carry each one around in her bra wrapped in a towel for awhile each day. She called them 'puppy burritos.' Every puppy turned out to be a loving and wonderful pet. Mister Big still like to rest his head on her chest after five years.
