If one considers the cards this administration was dealt, I find the country to be in astonishingly good condition at this point. Twice the national debt Economy in recession Gas at $3.37@g Oil at $110 Housing in free fall Financial sector melt down Two wars...one completely unnecessary A military in trouble (see Colin Powell's comments) A world image in tatters I can't think of a single positive achievement...even the one social program they passed in the middle of night and with threats to their own has special interests written all over it. and the fact that we haven't been attacked since 9/11 is highly suggestive of this fact. We have gone through decades during which we have not been attacked...so what does that mean? Nothing...except for partisans like you desperately trying to find something to hang on to. Al
