I had just PMd Lane about that very thing- only I believe I said it was suckyassed I've been so busy trying to keep up with this morning's posts that I had not yet notice that I had PMs. Yes, you did say "suckyassed." Spend a week in downstate Virginia and look what happens to your couth... I think that Obama missed a spin opportunity here. Seems to me the truth about the religion and guns gaffe in this context is that the Reps focus the bitter/helpless on distractions and scapegoats like "Happy Holidays" and guns rather than addressing their legitimate economic problems and isn't that condescending. I think that spin might have worked.
