What made your daughter think to do that? What a nice start to life!

We've only had springers all our married life, except our first dog which looked like one but was half poodle or something. They are just the right dog for us, and the only problem with them is they don't live as long as we do.

Anyway, our fourth dog Annie was such a sweetie that when our daughter struck out on her own she had to have a springer too, and she got Ruby. Ruby was the epitome of alpha dog rank but she is now eleven and is still vigorous but has lost her alpha status to Mister Big.

Ruby isn't what I'd call the sweetest dog we've known, but her puppies were truly outstanding. Our dog Daisy is from her second litter and Mister Big from her third.

That's Mister Big airborne, Ruby in the splash and Daisy already in, all after the same ball.

I don't know where she got the idea for puppy burritos, but it's a good one and if I were breeding puppies I'd so something like it to condition them as pets.

We stopped to see a litter of springers a couple of weeks ago. They were so cute and playful it was hard to avoid acquiring another one. We need another dog like we need another mortgage.
