Unfortunately a great deal of his problems probably stem from his family humoring his lies and exaggerations, rather than confronting him. He never knew that they didn't believe him and the die was cast. Lying and exaggerating are a large part of his personal make up. He doesn't know how stupid he is, because he wasn't taught about lying when his personality was formed. He probably told his mom early on that he met and was friends with Santa and Captain Kangaroo. >>Is health affiliated "mommy" actually his asylum psychiatrist?
