OK, OK, the word "suburbs" was not exactly what I meant, so I restated the economic and social distinction in my last post. I'd say the same thing about a Park Avenue executive knowing the vibe up in Bed-Stuy.

However you want to characterize Georgetown, I think it has little in common with the struggling areas of DC except a city name and some sports teams. As I noted, the subway doesn't even connect the two.
