I'm sure the Log Cabin Republicans define themselves with many parameters in addition to their sexual preferences. The GOP supports anti-gay legislation which has a huge impact on the lives of gays. The basic rights of hetero couples are denied to gay couples in long term relationships and I would think that those core needs would be important. Death benefits and decisions that carry legal impact can be denied to gay partners and trumped by genetic family members, in some cases. The LCR's obviously have other issues they feel are more important. If conservative values are their prime concern then this GOP has disappointed them on many fronts.Fiscal conservatism, for one example, is gone with the wind.
