Nah. They will be spread around - not concentrated.

They will be:

1) On Maple Street Anywhere, USA to house a couple of foreclosed suburbanites who want to still keep their kids in good schools. Maybe Hillary can work out a tax credit for buying them and swing a deal with McDonalds to park a few in the back lot. Captive source of business.

2) Maybe in New Orleans. Replace the temporary housing which outgases chloroform. Besides, they can be driven away when/if the next hurricane threatens. (I know the latter was a little unkind and tasteless.. I am still POed about all of the temp housing scams pulled post KatRita.)

3) Maybe moving migrant workers around the country. Better than working at WalMart.

'massive RV graveyards around the country. Like 1973-1974.'

So what was the best investment at the 1974 bottom down here? Those abandoned new condo projects, RV parks or MH parks? Hey if you stayed away from cash or bonds you probably did very well that cycle.. I guess Mish wouldn't agree with that one<g>..

Economic meltdown..

"You're gonna see some massive RV graveyards around the country. Like 1973-1974."

There's an opportunity there Jim. Put 'em up on blocks, arrange 'em like circled wagons with a park in the middle, hook up some basic plumbing and electricity, and you've got low income housing for the dispossessed.
