A black man walked in the last time I was there, and a guy near me at the bar muttered in a not-so-quiet way, "What's he think he's doing in here?" No kidding? Hell, I thought that only happened in 60s-era Mississippi, Arkansas, and Alabama. Nope, it happens pretty much every where in these disunited states. Just last year, I was telling Harris that an Arkansas woman was on Oprah.....she was around 23 years old.......she said she grew up in Arkansas hearing nigger said a lot. We've come a ways in terms of racial relations.....we have further to go.
