Thank you Ron for that post. It expresses my sentiments.. I have a difficult time too with lobbyist's who earn an nice bit of money for being a lobbyist for a particular company. A lot of it is dishonesty too. Look at the tobacco debacle. I have lost four friends to lung cancer. They smoked. It was not thought of to be deleterious to ones health. The tobacco companies said it was not habit forming.. Sic.

Ron; Think about this for a moment. Why on God's green earth, should multinational corporations, labor unions, the American Medical Association, The Trial Lawyers Association, Goldman Sachs, or the IBEW be allowed to contribute money to candidates and political campaigns? They are not human beings. They can't vote. So why are they allowed to donate money I wanted to stand up and cheer after reading this. I agree - we have lost our rights as individuals to the collective rights of corporate interest. Our way of government is suppose to be all about the individual. We are losing that! steve
