And... I also see that, aside from possible medicinal values, you have also mentioned 'agricultural value'....

There I think - for commercial uses of fiber, and seed's nutritive properties alone - (ignoring for now any possible utility for human intoxification/recreation as with alcohol markets, say) the economic utility is vast and well known.
