Bob.. don't get me wrong.. I like it as well.. But I was just concerned by the lack of a confirmed breakout, as well as the repeated intentions of Citron Research (which issued another derogatory article on EMKR today) to punish the stock.

I'm thinking that there's going to be a concerted effort to knock the stock down on any overall market retreat (which also looks likely during this earnings week).

FSLR is looking weaker (input FSLR in these daily and weekly charts) and the MACD is in a downtrend. And where FSLR leads, the sector will follow. It's not going to destroy the upward trend, but a wee bit of consolidation would be healthy for the next leg up:

I also read an interesting comment on the Yahoo thread that suggested the Tax Credit bill might actually leave congress on the 22rd, which would be "Earth Day". Which means we have a week for that final consolidation before the sector takes off.. It makes sense to me, since obviously a lot of institutions will want to get positioned for that event.

EMKR should probably either wait until the 13 DayMA catches up above $7, or it retraces back to bounce off of it just prior to the next run up.

We also have to think about options expiration this week. Nothing a mmkr loves more than making options expire worthless. ;0) So any run above $7.50 would deny them this opportunity. It also denies them the profitable opportunity to sell puts for opening up positions (covering shorts)..

In sum.. I think we're heading up to $10.. And if the stock breaks out above $7.50, I'll buy my positions back.

But I'll also restore my positions at any point the daily gets really oversold.
