You get a rec for rec-ognizing Joey is bitter, but no his bitterness never ends. Obama won't make it to the Whitehouse unless he is on the public tour. Even then, due to his friends they might have to pass many a detector over him. Wright will never sleep in the Lincoln bedroom. That room that represents how the Republicans spent their lives and treasure to free slaves. It wasn't a simple "break the slave ownership and crush their economy." There was a very strong religious and simply moral cry to end it. Most Northerners were unaware of it and yet fought as they were conscripted. Yet the cocktail party set did make it a cause. However that was again just another reason. The war became an issue of states rights. Unfortunately in order to preserve the union Lincoln was compelled to use commerce as the wedge. Now the Democrats, after they fought into the mid to late 60s decided they wanted the negro vote. So they lied. They lied about caring, they lied about sharing, they bought the black vote lock, stock and barrel when JFK got Martin Luther King out of jail for support. Even after he collected a significant file on his hypocrisy. Facts are facts and don't enjoy the lunacy of people creating their own. Senator Bird is a fine example...calling people white niggers on the Senate floor. EXCUSED...why? No good reason, because if he was insulting those white people, he certainly was nailing "niggers" as bad. So let us move ahead. It was LBJ that drafted all the blacks...so let us move ahead. Seems for so many years we actually were getting along, with the accepting of many making terrible incidents where they profit. They forgot so quickly that Charlton Heston also walked for freedom with MLK and all the regular Joes. Why? Politics. They demonize anything for an edge. Shame! We are still fighting the evils of Al Gores father. His people knew him and wouldn't allow him to carry that state. Let us attempt simplicity once more. When our body is wounded, we want healing and the body does just that. However, as your Mother and grandmother told you...don't pick at that scab or it will never heal..........so be it....
