Were there terrorists in Iraq before the war...was there an Al Quaeda in Iraq before the war? Did Bush constantly refer to terrorists in Iraq before the war (he does now, all the time). According to Bush that's all we are fighting in Iraq is terrorists.... When we invaded you didn't hear the word. It is a well-known fact that Iraq had Al Qaeda training facilities before the war. Obviously, we are now engaged in fighting AQI there. And Iraq was a state sponser of terrorism prior to the war. And I don't know about you, but it was made abundantly clear to me that there was a terrorist presence in Iraq prior to the war. I'm not quite sure how anyone could have missed it.
