I confess i've never read or listened to a word gore had to say on the subject. but i've read many a scientific report. ozone layer? maybe this or maybe that. that we are warming? that does not, to me, seem to be in question. who cares why? and do we need to change re emitions etc? of course, we do. doesn't matter if we punching a whole in the ozone. we do know it's bad stuff we emitting. and it seems, agaim from what i have read (and reading many reports and sides) to be rather clear we are in a warming period. no reason for hysteria over it. but reason to plan? yes. a farmer depends on the rain, and so plans for the dry years in order to survive, both with food and money for shoes. and a farmer knows that there come times there a bunch of bad years in a row. and sometimes on a global perspective, those years mean the oceans rise. and the storms are harsher. and the winters crueler or the summers hotter, etc. is just practical. it is... nature. the cycles. so i can't say if gore is being hysterical. but i read many dismissing anyone who thinks there is climate change is 'hysterical'. must be a lot of hysterical scientists about these days.

and... mongering fear? that is not hysterical. that is what people do when they say gays have an agenda. or don't be allowed assault rifles means no guns at all. or such. that's an act. not a condition.

and what is wrong with a lil emotional excess on occasion? can be... warming... al beit on a non-global scale.
