When the future becomes "predetermined"

This refers to a closed mind/prejudice?

What I meant was this: the predominant sentiment is bearish. Thus stock prices will fall. This sort of reasoning is a predetermination. The bias is to the downside. It's a self fulfilling expectation. The market could go in any direction and so is referred to as "fluid". Market price does not care about prejudiced emotions based on the past. In order to bet on the downside and continue to be successful one has to be lucky in this environment. This is true because of the theory of contrary opinion which refutes sentiment theory could turn the market on a dime, and ruin you. Everyone knows these things. They have nothing to do with sensing material causes acting before price, and they are useless since they respond after the fact and tell you nothing whether a counter move will persist, a counter move amplitude, or possible duration.
