The trouble with the "Greater Kurdistan" thing is that it seems to involve a hunk of Turkey in its suburbs. There also might be a neighborhood in Iran on that futuristic map of theirs.

The Kurds have to just concentrate on the section of Iraq they've got and start thinking about what the future may be like when/if the U.S. pulls out. They've gotta get the PKK under control and start playing 'nice' with everybody.

The Shiites are gonna be O.K., they're essentially tied to Iran very closely already.

I think the Sunnis are screwed.
