Our Colorado reservoirs were depleted following a 7 year drought that ended in about 2002. Now they have returned to average levels and we have a snow pack that is the biggest in thirty years. The Colorado Rockies provide the watershed for much of the South Western US. Now we have to worry about flash flooding in the late Spring early Summer.
