The tarriffs on imported ethanol should come off yesterday - we are a free market economy and that is in contrast to our claim.

Well.. as I understand it, we put a .54/gallon tariff on imported ethanol, while offering .51/gal subsidy for production of it. That's a 1.05/gal in effective subsidization.. And we've mandated 9 Billion gallons of production by

The result is a massive dis-articulation of the agricultural commodities markets as land use is diverted from wheat and other grains and put into corn production..

That's what disturbs me..
