The racists are people like you who lie by trying to cherry pick a few lines from a 30 year career and turn it into a scare tactic to rub salt in the wounds of racism. As Colin Powell said last week, Obama handled the Wright controversy perfectly, and Powell also stated that Wright is a truly great man who has helped thousands of people in need, as a good Christian should. Also, if Obama is responsible for those lines, then why isn't McCain responsible for his supporters demonization of Catholics, Jews and New Orleans? You can't have it both ways. If Obama is guilty, McCain is too. And so is Bush for coiddling Bob Jones University.

Whites need not be afraid of Obama. He is very moderate on these issues, and is half white himself. Because of this, he fully understands the feelings and cultures of both races, and has a personal goal of bringing the two together.

The problem is that the rightwing wants to divide us. Always has, always will. Because the only way they can ever win is to divide, cheat, lie and then conquer. A unified non-racist America is a very bad thing for the rightwing and they know it. So expect lots and lots of dishonest racist smears going forward.

I consider Obama a sick racist himself. His comments about "typical white persons", about talk about handling "white people", his description of rage over innocent sympathetic comments by white people, his expression of sympathy for Malcolm X's wish that the white blood in his veins could be erased, his 20 year close association with a racist demagogue like Jeremiah Wright are vivid evidence of Obama twisted racism.
