The question I don't get is: what is exactly so bullish about the
USD that should make it rally sharply? Is it the current account
surplus? Record exports? Positive international investment
position? The Fed raising rates to protect it? Half of all
investment advisors expecting USD to rally? PPP? Being a carry
trade funding currency? Well, the ppp is bullish, but inflation
might correct that. -g-

Thanks to the Fed/administration current Wall street/bubble
propping policies, we are
constantly shedding our manufacturing capacity. The Fed
needs to study Weimar Republic experience instead of the
Great Depression, IMHO. The Depression will come when our
currency is rejected as a reserve currency in the global
market place, and we have to depend on what we actually
save and produce. We need to abolish the Fed. If these
bubble propping policies continue for another 5 years,
we'll have no manufacturing left.
