SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Fremont General Corp.

FMT said late Wednesday trading of its shares will be suspended by the New York Stock Exchange before the market opens on Thursday. The company's common stock and trust preferred securities will move to the Pink Sheets.
