Not unless they can be in place prior to the point of no return. If they're too little, too late, we're unnecessarily hurting ourselves by putting what little life humanity has left into building them.<<

How could it possibly hurt us to build solar thermal power plants? They don't cost more than nuclear or coal plants, they produce electricity at a low cost, and they don't pollute even a tiny bit.

What's the downside?
