If a company is in compliance with the law how can they pollute more or less than another in the same industry?

Standards are low. Some outfits barely meet them and others exceed them. Also, sometimes the standards are technology based rather than output based and their output is inherently different.

Bob;

If a company is in compliance with the law how can they pollute more or less than another in the same industry?

All regulation does is set a bar not to go over - to think that some companies don't get close to that bar is silly. What you think all companies pollute as much as they can up to the limit?

Now what I think you mean is you would like to see coal outlawed as a fuel. You would like to see hydrocarbons banished to history. You would like your dreams to replace reality.

Bob, this statement is based on lunacy. To think the world will be free of hydrocarbons is nonsense. You make this stuff up. Why not debate the things I bring up instead of stuff even I don't believe in?
