Mish,

Prices on nearly everything from China are rising, not falling.

The exceptions are certain high tech items like LCD screens and computer storage.

However, other computer accessories like mice, keyboards, and storage bags are more than double the price they used to be just 4-years ago.

Our input prices from China are about 60% higher than they were in 2002.

Falling prices from China is a myth. Everyone's been paying higher prices for the past 3-years due to changes in the tax rebate (anywhere from 8-15% increases) and changes in the currency exchange (the Chinese Yuan has appreciated almost 20% against the USD since July 2005). Add in the higher production costs due to wage inflation and commodity inflation and you've got a good idea why prices are going up every month from China.
