LOL up here folks starting to complain about food inflation, gas @ 1.17 / litre in Toronto this AM.. etc... tvs and cars are cheaper but you do not buy those every day.. Likely transit strike Monday morning... more money wanted when working, and not working...... fun fun fun... Guy taking tickets in booth all day makes as much as wife with two degrees working in health care making life changing decisions for children every day.. is there a wage and price spiral brewing ...

So now if our loonie tracks the USD now more or less... to maintain trade balance lookout for same inflation as the US ... Loonie has risen > 50% off its lows ?? so that is one hell of a cushion... but the cushion may be over... Our trade is reduced to just under 80% with the US... Interestingly when that happens our trade surplus evaporates fast.. Some conundrum.. Rates going down here shortly ..
