"Reagan won the Cold War. Decisively. Single-handedly. " This is a total right wingnut fantasy. The Cold War was a cumulative battle of attrition fought by EVERY president since Truman. Jimmy Carter not only fought them as president, but fought them as a nuclear engineer on a missile sub. Ronnie Ray Gun happened to be in office when they finally collapsed. Reagan played his part.
