Doesn't Jimmy have "freedom of speech"? Are you trashing the constitution? See, this righty righteous indignation shit is easy. Sure he does. This isn't a matter of "rights". This is a matter of reasonable, appropriate behavior of an ex-president -- one who should understand that he is acting without complete knowledge and who should understand that unwanted participants can cause grave problems. It is stupid, and I'm starting to wonder whether the man is suffering from senile dementia. Maybe he thinks he is still president and that he isn't really the disaster he was.
