The dems dont want to give up control of the senate so they put up with Joe. They have no choice and joe is loving every minute of it and thats why he doesnt quit.
I may have personalized things too much with my reference to harry reid. I think many democrats dont think he has been a great leader. Wharf has said on numerous occasions that he would want someone like boxer. I am thinking that on principle the dems should boot joe anyway and pick up control of the senate again after the election in which they will add a bunch of seats.
