Few people who love America have forgotten about Zell Miller. He certainly was the only democrat in Congress from his era that was truly moderate. Now we have democrats falling all over each other to see who can be the most extremely leftwing. When Zell Miller was in the Senate he was my favorite democrat. He is still my favorite democrat Senator. Joe Lieberman comes in second but he is rather liberal on many issues.
