Imo, Hillary supporters would do well to look elsewhere than the democratic party after she concedes ...

I understand what you're feeling.

His supporters don't really make me think less of Obama though.

The scapegoating and other treatments of Hillary by segments of her own party.....MSNBC, certain blogs, etc.....simply make me think less of the party.

Not to mention what it's done to my opinion of the press.

The only thing that would keep me from voting for Obama would be if I got lazy and just skipped voting. I live in AR and he won't carry my state so the only reason to vote will be the local elections.

I don't think my local dem party members will campaign up in southern MO for Obama like they did for Claire McCaskill, so that's out, too. I think Hillary could have carried MO by a squeak but doubt Obama can. The southern, rural part is just too conservative and church going.

<<I don't know Obama. I don't have a feel for the kind of people he will bring into government and how Obama will use his advisors. I have always said I will vote for him and against anyone the reps put up. I just don't have enough respect for McCain's intellect. I can't trust where that is going to take us.

But Obama voters are causing me to rethink my position should he get the nomination. I am not the only one thinking this way. In fact, I have been hearing a lot of this, but I have been ignoring it.>>Mary

I think this could be a real issue for the Dems. I think it could be worse if it looks like Clinton if forced out before she is really wanting to leave the race. The only saving grace here for the Dems is that McCain is an easy target for the core of the Dem party that I think that most will find the idea of him in the WH appalling and will eventually come back to the party and give the eventual nominee the home town pass, just like the reps will give the home town pass to McCain when push comes to shove.
