I have never seen it so I guess I will have to sign up for Netflix. :). Can't get a lot of that type stuff at our rental place.. We are very fascinated by the Aboriginal culture.. It started with the reading of "Mutant Message Down Under".. A fascinating, easy, factual? fictional? account of a woman's odyssey through the Outback with some Aboringinal people.. We were turned on to this book by a Native American woman married to my "Cousin Jack", really :), a beautiful, spiritual, charismatic woman who now raises Apolousa horses with her husband..I digress again, but you should see her bead and leather work, starting out with a live elk.. Here is a picture of a t-shirt he wears.. Another site..westwindworld.com Here is the link to Mutant Message..quanta-gaia.org So that led to more reading and finally a trip Down Under in January of 2001.. I remember the date well because when we crossed the International date line, we went from Jan 20 to Jan 22 with NO Jan 21 when Bush was sworn in, So we didn't live under a SWORN in Bush presidency during his first term.. LOL.. We weren't so lucky the second time.. :( So we learned a little more about them down there and their plight resembles our indigent population in the way they were treated, bounties etc.. :( So they call themselves something like, "The People" and they seem to have things ALL figured out, at least from MY perspective.. So we have a number of books and some art too.. Fascinating to say the least.. But I guess I have carried on long enough for awhile with my stream of consciousness.. :)
