Big doc, finally got it ... articulos 8 and 9 are the ones that affect us ... can't copy and paste, it's a foto ... but art 8 says all medium and large scale mining activities not covered by 1-5 are to be suspended until they 'approve a new legal framework that regulates the activity and re-defines the conditions of their operation'

Art. 9 - 'The new legal framework of mention, must be expedited at the end of 180 days, counted from the date of promulgation of this mandate'

... doesn't leave much hope of making a deal within that six months ... not much else in this has effect on us, it's stuff you'd expect anywhere mostly ... one thing i don't know is how ecuadorian legislature works, if they can pass part of a mandato and not other parts ... whether there's 'line-item veto' in US terms, in parliamentary countries of course any part of a bill can be changed and tweaked or dropped out along the way ... but it is as represented in those news stories guys ... merde! ... got to go, later, cheers
