Neither prospect is comfortable. We shall see.

The shape that this country is in is the worst in memory. Bush has the lowest ratings. Hence the upcoming elections will be very very different, the likes of which we have never experienced before. I feel comfortable in predicting that economy and Iraq will be the top issues. McCain will have a very very hard sell on Iraq. And people are not going to cling to religious issues like abortion and gay marriage once they start feeling comfortable that the candidates are not merely promising things to get elected but instead listening and communication with them on what they will do to resolve their personal problems.

Again, it's all about probabilities. The probability of an Obama Hillary ticket is .0000000000000000001%. So could it happen? Yes. Not likely, though.

Realistically, I am starting to entertain that idea of an Obama-Clinton ticket, much as I dislike her.

Friends, Obama will be the nominee, and he is going to asked by party elders to include Clinton in. It is quite easy for us to say no to that notion, but put yourselves in Obama's shoes with all that pressure.
