The Kennedy's have endorsed every Democrat since JFK, I assume. Just because some of them endorse Obama is nothing unusual.

What I get is you really like Obama because he's black. it would be good for the country if a black guy was elected president, the idea of it was bigger than any differences on policy.

Of course, you know that's not really a good reason to support anyone.

Now I'd be content just to see him run a good race, something black folks could point to with pride.

If he's the nominee, he'll lose - almost certainly by a pretty big margin. It won't be pointed to with pride. People will say, America is too racist to elect a black man. Whether its true or not.

Obama is going to worsen the racial situation in this country.

Yes it would be, but the first black president will be a disappointment to the black community because he will be a Republican.
