but the asian countries are helped by the lower dollar in importing rice from the states.

The great reason food commodities rise now is the idiotic use of crop space to grow corn and make ethanol. The greenies are responsible for that.

Your article was lame. The inflation in other countries isn't related to the weak dollar. The problem in Europe is that their Euro is trading way too high. They have serious economic problems, created their own inflationary atmosphere and are reluctant to devalue their inflated currency.
