Apparently politics is equivalent to a Cub Scout troop with merit badges now.

Fortunately that kind of stuff is a minority view in the US, even if some of the press likes to dredge it up and toss it around for fun.

The same folks who put forth the opinion that the elected reps should wear lapel even though their constituents don't wear them also say that someone like Obama is a "elitist" and hence is not like them and cannot represent them.
