It is a tough tough thing to try and change people's mindset. Most people, including myself, are set in their ways and attitudes due to personal disposition and the environment. It gets tougher and tougher for me to challenge and submit somebody else if they are DETERMINED to have a closed mind about a very sensitive subject. And I positively empathize with the difficulty of this situation. Nobody wants to think that their kids or pilot or surgeon or authority figure is using drugs. I know that I don't want that to happen. But the fact of the matter is that there are already PLENTY of other drugs out there to get annihilated on. Adding cannabis to list is hardly a drop in the bucket. Not to mention the fact that no one has ever died from an OD on cannabis. There are so many arguments that are positive for legalization. The arguments for criminalization sound weaker and weaker every day. It is absolutely galling to me that this plant has been kept away from the people who need it....and for the very weakest of reasons.
