Why did Bush ignore all the pre-9-11 warnings which were so-so clear? You saw the 8-6-01 memo. "Bin Ladin determined to strike in US". Why did they do absolutely nothing about that?

I don't pretend to know what kinds of behind-the-scenes corruption was going on in the Bush WH, but I wouldn't put it past them to decide to allow terrorists to strike us, then use that an excuse to go after their #1 sought-after prize, Iraqi oilfields.

GW also wanted top prove he was more macho than his father, and go into Baghdad. But it was GW who started the Iraq war, not Saddam. Remember that? People who deliberately start wars based on false evidence and lies are despicable people, historically speaking. Just look at the list. And what's even worse is how they did it, and how poorly they planned everything but the seizure of the oil-fields and proclamation of pre-mature "victory".
