I am not an expert on what jobs replaced what jobs. And apparently you arent either.. All i know is that save islamist extremists, we live in a better world and whole swaths of the world folks are doing far better. I dont blame foreigners for our woes. I dont blame illegals for doing the work ameicans wont do. I think over the last 25 years we had control over inflation with cheap imports and a rise in standard of living worldwide that creates markets for our goods and services. I dont think the America of the 50s and 60s was sustainable. If it were, we would all be driving chevys costing 50k each and wearing $2000 suits made like shit. That world was coming apart and it amazes me how well capitalism works as we switch from one model to another.
