'Do you by chance know how much hurricane insurance would be for that area? It's pretty much in harm's way' That area is 50 miles from the coast plus the land is higher so rates will be lower..but combination of RE taxes, MUD/special assessments and insurance could add up to near 5% of value taking a big bite out of rental income.. Of course a CAT 5 rolling through Galveston or anywhere in those low lying areas would be devastating well inland..
