regrettably there is some truth in what you say but i do believe there are some good folks out there who think hamas can be defanged as was the IRA. Why isnt the irish example at least possible here, albeit far earlier in the process? If jimmy can get them to stop the rockets then the israelis will be obligated to lighten up on gaza. Will even that work? Dunno. Could it make things worse? i guess if somehow hamas could rearm to the teeth with more modern weapons. Is it worth the try. Perhaps.
