Oh, wait. There never was an insurgency in those places. Actually Germany had an insurgency that lasted a year and a half. NK may have one inside its borders, but with no news from there how would we know?

Germans and Japanese were crushed and surrendered unconditionally while South Koreans owed their very existance to us. Vietnam was a civil war that involved an artificially divided nation. Iraq is an ethnic and religous non-melting pot.
