Boy. (if I may say that) Our memories are almost exactly the same. I remember seeing "Stalin is Dead" on a newspaper as i waited for the school bus. First headline I ever remember. The graphics were so so stark, they caught the eye. I remember a car caravan coming through town, beeping their horns, and everybody wore an "I like Ike" button, and waved as it passed. I can't remember who the dignitary was, but it wasn't Ike. ditto with everything else. Went to the middle with Carter. went to the right with 9/11.
