You can easily get the cost down by merely cutting the quality of the health care. The reason we have the best health care in the world is that we spend more on it than anyone else. In most studies we are not ranked the best in the world... and a lot of what we spend is on administrative overhead not productive medicine. In addition, we subsidize the same drugs sold for less money worldwide, which we shouldn't be doing. Could be a first that we agree on something.
