Lebanese potential problem here in Africa once it erupts. Too much control on what is bought and sold. Lebanese work as family business. All controlled by people from lebanoin. Business relations based on trust.

Works well in places that has got no legal frame work. Can be scapegoas once trouble erupts...

(i) BBC and Economist are both as suspect as Stratfor, Washingtonn Post, CNN, Time, NYT, WSJ, and National Review whenever the subject is China

(ii) OTOH, yes, colonialist take on many disguises, and Africa is always ripe

(iii) Of course, a fine line between colonialism, and foreign aid, and foreign direct investment
