Actually that's not the reason. They feel those who have left have made the sacrifice. Incredibly they feel they have the better end of the deal. Those who have left are considered to have gone "to the city"....doesn't matter where you went, you have gone "to the city". Now we have to put up with minorities, crime, high cost of living, and are no longer living in a beautiful area...and we can't see the HS football team anymore. They seriously think that all of we "region" diaspora just can't wait for retirement so we can go back.
