Senators or Congress persons are not required to wear uniform. It is amazing that it is OK for McCain and Hillary not to have a flag pin on their lapels, but it is an issue for Obama. All of the critics against Obama stem partly because he is a new kid on the block. Just look at the corporate world when a newly hired young person is promoted over others with seniorities. When Obama is the new President, the country will regain an important boost: HOPE, something that is in short supply under Bush.
